Road Grader at Burritt Township Hall
Taken at Burritt Township Hall in Wempletown. Looking northwest through an old road grader along State Hwy 70
This looks like a more complicated apparatus than the old road graders that I've seen parked outside other township halls. Either that, or it has more of its original parts.

Nap on the Pecatonia
After crossing the Pecatonia River, I stopped at a roadside park (Two Rivers Forest Preserve) and took a nap on a picnic bench. The Pecatonia is to the right in the photo. The Sugar River flows into the Pecatonia just down the road, to the north.

Shirland Town Hall
Shirland Town Hall looks like it could have been a school at one time, but a 1905 plat map shows a town hall at that location even then. So if it was built in 1902, it probably originated as a town hall.
Newark Township is Zoned
There was no sign welcoming me to Wisconsin, but there was one to inform me that I was entering Newark Township.

Newark Hall
Note: The sign doesn't say Newark Township Hall or Newark Town Hall. It's just plain Newark Hall.

Orfordville Fire Department
The Town of Spring Valley doesn't have a town hall. Instead, meetings and elections are held at the Orfordville Fire Department building in Orfordville.
